In spite of the Covid and all the stress around the pandemic, I have found myself quite peaceful. Throughout it all, I have kept my distance (shopped at the market at least twice a month- with mask and distance) and continued working at my desk. My passion for golf has taken a back seat and I have not yet been to the driving range. Between having my right shoulder replaced and the virus spreading like the plague of the mid 1500s, getting out there to hit balls into a field just wasn’t top of my list. But!!! the time has come to begin again.
I am cleaning! that’s a start… first my bedroom, killing off the dust bunnies, then my computer, dumping all the old files I will never need again… giving away dozens of paperbacks and CDs I neither read nor listen to… it’s time to clear off the shelves!!!
I’m continuing to write my story… every day a bit more… either writing or editing…
I’m inspired by the latest PBS documentary on the life of Ernest Hemingway. I like his short pithy sentences filled with sharp meaning. Snap, crackle, pop! It’s a style I like.
More. Later.
Your commitment to your craft is impressive! (The cleaning out is too!)
