Just home from the pop-up vaccination site here on the Cape. I was one of the lucky ones to get an appointment for the “one and done” Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Took very little time, the site was very well organized, and lucky for me, the J&J crowd moved right along. The majority of people (1,600 as of 10 a.m.) standing in line were there for one of the other vaccines. It was going to be a long wait for that crowd.
So I’m shot! Didn’t feel a thing. A small prick and that was it. The nurses encouraged us to go home and rest, take it easy, put your feet up… which I am doing, with my computer at the ready.
Now the big question… I’m shot… so where can I go to celebrate???
Nowhere, at least not yet. They tell me I need two weeks before immunity kicks in. Maybe I’ll buy an airline ticket to visit New Zealand. Now there’s a country that knows how to handle a virus!. Keep in touch. I’ll let you know when I am flying high. 🙂

Congrats!!! So exciting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
