It’s nearly Christmas, and my family wants to know what I want for the holiday… The problem is… I don’t really need anything.
I’ve got all the hats and mittens I could ever want. I suppose I could use a new this, or a new that, but I don’t really … So how do I answer the question: “What do you want for Christmas?” when there isn’t anything I really need or want — at least nothing I would ask anyone to get me…
If someone gave me an all-expense paid cruise to Greece, I’d take it in a flash. (Greece is one of those countries on my “bucket list”)… Hint Hint
So I have to be creative about my gift requests. Last year I had one of my sisters refinish an old cabinet that had water stains on the top surface. She doesn’t know it yet, but this year I think I’ll come up with an equally thrilling gift giving option for her…(still thinking about it)

I did come up with one creative gift request for the other sister. I own an old leather jacket that needs a bit of repair and a thorough cleaning. (It’s been hanging in the back of the closet for a while and I think the spiders have built a nest in one of the sleeves!) So: creative gift request – Repair and refresh!!!
I think the job is already in process. I stopped by her house earlier today and found my jacket hanging in her garden! Hope she takes it in before the wild turkeys find it. 🙂
Do you have any creative gift requests to pass along? What’s your answer to the question? What do you want for Christmas this year????
I think a turkey would look great in it…very dapper.
