After running around in circles for the last 8 months I think I’ve finally settled on a story synopsis I can live with and get excited about…
…and it’s NOT a mystery! Mysteries are damn hard to write. I now have a whole new respect for Agatha Christie!

Synopsis…
Historical fiction writer, Heather Winslow, travels to Cape Cod in search of a compelling story she can weave into a new bestseller to lift her sagging book sales. During extensive research, she stumbles into the shameful past of the once noble Dillard family, uncovering long-hidden secrets that finally reveal the truth about the lynching of the witch, Rebekah Howland and the location of pirate treasure buried long ago.
Central Conflict…
After discovering the truth about the real history of Dillard Town, Heather has to decide how best to correct the injustice brought against Rebekah Howland and her descendants…
What do you think? Would you read this book?
Does Heather dig up the treasure?
Heather is not fond of manual labor, but for a pirate treasure? She is willing to make an exception. 🙂
